Who we are

Decked Out (also called DJ Booker Bot) is a Discord bot and web dashboard for booking DJ/VJ slots at events. This policy covers the bot and this website.

What we store

• Server membership info: for people who use the bot or this dashboard in a server, we store their Discord user ID, username, server nickname, avatar ID, the IDs of their roles in that server, and when we last saw or checked them. We use this to check DJ / VJ / Host permissions and to let hosts pick DJs when booking slots.
• DJ profiles and preferences you create: stream links, logos, preview links, music genres, DJ-mail (event notification) subscriptions, club links and DJ applications.
• Events and bookings: events hosts create, which slots people booked, and the related Discord message IDs.
• Server settings: channel and role IDs configured with /config, language, and website sync codes.
• Supporter credits: the display name and tier of Patreon supporters, shown on the landing page.
• Website login: a session cookie while you are logged in. We don't store your Discord password or OAuth tokens beyond your session.

What we don't do

• We don't read the content of your messages. The bot has no access to message content, member lists or online status (it uses no privileged Discord intents).
• We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sharing

Event details (event name, time, genre and booked DJ names) are shown in the Discord server where they were created. If a server links itself to an external event calendar with /linkpop, those event details are also shared with that calendar. Nothing else is shared with third parties.

How long we keep it

• Server membership info is re-checked with Discord regularly. It's deleted when you leave the server, when the bot is removed from the server, or after 90 days without activity.
• Events are deleted automatically 7 days after they finish.
• Profiles and preferences are kept until you delete them.

Deleting your data

• Run /forget_me in Discord to remove your stored server membership info.
• Run /forget_me everything:True to also remove your DJ profile, genres, DJ-mail subscriptions and club links.
• /delete-profile removes just your DJ profile.
• For anything else, ask us in the support server.

Note: using the bot again in a server records your roles there again, because that is how permissions are checked.
